Pot Roast anyone?

I want to cook mine in my slow cooker/crock pot whatever and I didn't thaw it.. so can I just put it in there since it's so early or what??

Ive never put frozen meat in mine, maybe the other ladies would know...

I think you can, it jsut takes a lot longer ot cook. Make sure you put some water in your crock pot to heat it up first, then pour the water out or leave in and then add the roast.

i have never done it frozen but it might work on high for longer since its frozen

I cook mine all the time frozen... 6-8 hours and your fine.... Just put it on high a little longer...

I also cook ours frozen. I hardly ever remember to pull stuff out to thaw the night before. Has anyone made a roast w/Coke?

I always cook ours frozen, pop it in the crock pot before work with a can of beef broth and some baby carrots and potatoes, cut up onion, garlic and what ever else you want put it on low and by the time we get home we have dinner.

Never did one with coke though.

Yup I do it all the time! I just put it on low in the morning (after 10 I put it on high and keep an eye on it) and let it cook all day. If I put it on high though, I make sure to put extra liquid in or it'll be dryer.

I often use frozen meat in mine, I just cook it for 10 hrs.
Don't put a lot of liquid in, as the meat cooks the water will come out making any broth/sauce more watery.
