I broke into the craze and I got an Instant Pot.

Do you have one? If so, what is your fav recipe? Also, how often do you use it?

I'm gonna lurk on this post. I also just recently got one! I haven't used it yet but DB threw some chicken thighs, carrots, potatoes, onion, and a little chicken broth and it all came out really tender and delicious!

I suppose it depends how you most want to use it and what you bought it for. Something like an Instant Pot can cover a lot of different functions and processes.

When you bought it, were you thinking "pressure cooker"? "Slow cooker"? Were you going to try making a pilaf or something with the rice cooker setting? What did you see when you thought about using it?

I am currently looking at instant pots and remembered there was a thread recently about them.
Are they worth it?! Do you find yourself using it frequently?

I haven't used mine a whole lot. I thought i'd use it as a crock pot, but then I started reading articles that didn't recommend that, so I moved on haha

It is, but not everyone uses every function. There’s no point giving OP a recipe that relies on the pot using a function she doesn’t like using.
