    Entrée or a side?

    Advertisements
There is an FRG meeting coming up. It's potluck style and I have to bring an entrée. I'm at a complete loss of what to bring. I've never gone to anything potluck style. I immediately thought of a lasagna or ziti. But I feel that's such a common dish and I'm not the only one bringing an entrée so I don't want to show up with lasagna/ziti and see that three other people brought that as well.

I was thinking chicken parm stuffed garlic bread. But I'm not sure that's considered an entrée? Chicken parm is an entrée, but garlic bread is a side. Put together? I'm not sure. Here's a video of the recipe incase anyone doesn't know what I'm talking about:

What do you think, entrée or a side? If I don't make that I'll probably make shepards pie or chicken alfredo shells.

It's a potluck, bring whatever you want! I don't think the potluck will need 20+ entrees.

I agree, it's a potluck. Bring whatever you want, and don't think too much into it! I think the stuffed bread sounds delicious, and I'm sure it will be a hit!

I think the point of "entree" is just that it be substantial. Chicken park garlic bread sounds just fine.

Ok, I'm going to make it! It looks so yummy, but I haven't had it. I'll post after the meeting to say what people thought of it.
