Howdy howdy! Some of you may have already seen this on my Facebook page. (Keyes gave me a new recipe that DH loves so that's definitely in the rotation now.)

I need inspiration for new recipes. TIRED of our usual rotations (lasagna, red beans & rice, turkey burgers, roast, chicken anything ) and am sick of searching the black hole that is Pinterest. What are your favorite meals that you always have in your home?

skinnytaste.com has AMAZING husband-friendly (I say that because my DH, pickiest eater alive, loves the meals from there) recipes. I haven't been disappointed yet!

I feel like we make pizza bites ALL the time now

You just cut up the dough and roll up the cheese and toppings, and heat some marinara to go with it. Super easy ... it's like our favorite football food.

Now that it's cold(er) we eat grilled cheese and soup a lot.

Fish is super easy and super fast. I bought some scallops and they're a little pricey but they literally take like, a minute to cook.

Pork or chicken in the slow cooker, tonight we're doing BBQ sandwiches and cole slaw.

Chicken chili verde in the slow cooker. Lemon chicken (chicken in a lemon & wine broth served over rice & veggies- it's basically a soup). Pasta w/ chunky bolognese sauce. Steak + veggies on the side. Minestrone w/ french bread. Salmon cooked in parchment packets w/ veggies. Pot Roast. Fajitas. Tuna Mac (homemade mac n cheese w/ tuna & veggies added). Curry chicken salad sandwiches.

These are my fall/winter staples. We eat mostly salad & grilled protein in the spring & summer.

I have a few healthy staples! (And I also HIGHLY recommend Skinnytaste!)

Tuna salad: - KitchMe I will usually put this on top of a green salad with some balsamic and EVOO.
Cheeseburger soup: https://www.weightwatchers.com/food/...lowCookerMeals The base recipe is pretty bland. I kick it up with extra paprika, cumin, and chili powder. You could probably also add taco seasoning to your ground beef as you brown it!
Baked tilapia: Baked Tilapia Recipe | Taste of Home This is one of my very favorites. SO simple!
Tuna burger: Lemon Garlic Tuna Burgers - Andie Mitchell Currently nomming on one for lunch right now.
Santa Fe chicken: Crock Pot Santa Fe Chicken | Skinnytaste

I posted the spaghetti squash lasagna the other day on FB and it's going to definitely become a staple. it's SUPER easy.

I'm a crockpot advocate so our staples usually include those recipes.

    -Chicken fajitas (making this tonight)
    -Chicken caesar wraps
    -Italian beefs
    -Pot roast

    Our other staples are:

-Hamburger steaks & sauteed onions with sweet potatoes mashed with mushrooms inside
    -Tacos
    -Spaghetti (DH loves my spaghetti)
    -taco soup
    -Stir fry

We're trying to stick to a low carb diet, so all of my recipes are usually paleo or the low carb version.

My husband loves chicken pot pie (or shepherd's pie with turkey) and crockpot french dip sandwiches.

We also eat a lot of chicken or vegetarian chili.

Breakfast for dinner is also always a winner!
