Wrap Ideas & a Crockpot Question

    Advertisements
Since I am totally not a creative cook, I need some ideas/recipes for wraps. It can be chicken or beef or pork. DH is on a wrap kick lately and he is getting sick of my chicken cesare wraps.

Also, I've never had a crockpot before. My mom bought me one as a wedding gift but it's with our HHG and it won't be here till September. (Thanks for that awesome mistake TMO ) I keep finding these amazing crockpot recipes and I'm wondering if I should buy another one. I figure it will help me out with making dinner for the world's pickiest eater aka my husband.

The best one is to cook some chicken in the crock pot (unfrozen 2-3 hours, frozen 3-5 hours) shred it, coat it buffalo sauce or BBQ sauce... or really whatever sauce you want.

    Crockpot French Dip

    Ranch Chicken Enchiladas

    Crockpot Chicken Tacos

A few good crockpot ideas that can be used for wraps.

And, yes, totally buy another crockpot. I love mine so much.

A couple more I overlooked on my Pinterest:

    Slow Cooker Honey Sriracha Chicken

    Pulled Zesty BBQ Chicken

Just start adding stuff! Whatever sounds good and is fresh. Salsa, beans, sprouts, spinach, different cheeses, grilled veggies, any leftovers from the fridge.

We use our crockpot all the time, but IMO they're too expensive for me to buy a second one just to use it more immediately.

I have 3 crock pots.... so.. can never have too many.

I made a pork (carnitas) recipe in the crock pot that was awesome in a wrap..

basically it was pork chops, salsa and whatever spices you like. Cooked for about 6-8 hours on low, shredded, done..

Pretty much anything can go in a wrap. Hubby even did Thanksgiving leftovers in a wrap once.

I like to do ham wraps. Basically its like a ham sandwich but in a wrap. There are always fajitas. You can pretty much cook meat almost any kind of way and throw it in a wrap. Add whatever toppings you want to it, and voila.

We have three crockpots too. Great for when we have company over and/or on Thanksgiving for big meals etc.

I love buffalo chicken wraps. The french dip sounds delish too.

I'm a basic cook so I try to keep things pretty simple.
