German Chocolate cake help!
What type of icing do you typically put on German Chocolate cake? What is it suppose to taste like? DB just graduated Airborne like no joke 20mins ago and his favorite type of cake is German Chocolate, so im trying to put it together fast for him. TIA!

It's not funky! It's yummy. You've never had it? It's one of my favorites! It basically tastes like chocolate cake. But if you don't like coconut, you probably won't like the frosting.

i thought it was just choc.. cake and the icing is what made it "german choc cake"? Its my ALL time favorite!! !

i bought "German Chocolate" cake mix at the commissary last night i should have figure the icing was coconut, it looked that way on the cake box
