I usually make my own. I don't have a recipe persay because I kind of throw things in the pot.
I use tomato paste and the slightly chunkier canned tomatoes that are cut up, and judge how many by how many I'm feeding. 1 can of each will feed 2 easily. I add about a tbsp of extra virgin olive oil, a little chopped up sweet onion (maybe 1/4 of a smallish one), and 1-2 freshly minced garlic cloves. Also oregano and basil, fresh if I can find it, if not then dried works fine. I don't measure it, I just put enough that you can tell it's there but not overpowering. Add black pepper (fresh cracked is best IMO) and salt. If you want spicy, add crushed red pepper. That's about it I think. You can add mushrooms and olives as well.

i get the large cans of whole tomatoes and the crush them by hand myself. set aside.
-- about a tbsp of extra virgin olive oil or so to bottom of sauce pot and then, and 1-2 garlic cloves chopped fine. --watch until garlic begins to slightly brown and then add in your tomatos. --add salt, pepper, parsley & basil. like amber said, i prefer fresh, but dried works too. --sometimes i use tomato paste but most often, i don't. if the sauce is too then, then i will to thicken it up.... or if i don't have time to let it simmer the proper amount of time. if you have leftover mushrooms and red wine, you can add that as well! awesome!!!
