Strawberry Shortcake

What recipe do you guys use? I have never made it from scratch but I bought some fresh strawberries and that just sounds so good! So if you could help I would really appreciate it!!

I'm too lazy to bake a cake, so I either buy angel food or skip it altogether. Whipping 1/2 cup heavy cream with 3-4 tablespoons of sugar makes enough delightful whipped topping for 4!

I use biqsuick for the biscuits but when I make them I use two cut outs of dough and put in between them.

For the berries I just chop them up and just put sugar on them and let them sit to make a good juice.

And for the whipped cream it's just heavy cream, sugar and vanilla extract. Whip it with beaters but to much otherwise it's like butter.

I'll be making it for fathers day since it's my dads fav.

I like making the bisquick biscuits, add the strawberries, and then make homemade whipped cream (heavy cream and some suga whipped together)
