We bought fresh fillets and baked them in the oven, 15-20 on each side with lemon juice, butter, and brown sugar...it was sooo good!

![]() I'd thaw it either in the fridge or in water. I bake mine using lemon pepper and butter. I bake it at 350° for like 30 mins. There are a plethora of recipes online for salmon. ![]() The sell-by date means that's the last day the store can sell it on the shelves. As long as you freeze or use it by then you're safe! |

all u have to do is defrost it by letting it sit in some cold water until its fully defrosted. then put it in a baking dish and squeeze lemon all over it then put seasoning any kind that you like... i like cajun seasoning tarragon and dill.... but anything u like is fine... if its a filet then put it skin side down in the dish... then bake on 400 for not more than 20 minutes... you will know its done when you can easily flake separate the layers with a knife or fork. garnish with slices of lemon and ENJOY

My favorite salmon recipe:
Salmon: 1 lb. salmon filet olive oil 6 crushed garlic cloves 1 Tbsp chopped fresh dill Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil. Put the salmon on top of foil. Pour just enough olive oil over salmon to cover the whole surface. Spread garlic over the top and sprinkle with dill. Fold the aluminum foil over the salmon and refrigerate overnight. Bake at 350* for 15-20 minutes. [If you want it moist, just leave the foil closed.] You can definitely add in some lemon. I love lemon on everything.

I make it with just a tiny bit of teriyaki sauce, a little garlic powder and some fresh cracked pepper, then cook it on the George Foreman. YUMMY!
