does anyone know how eggplant is on the grill? with my new basically vegan diet, i figured i would try it. how do you prepare it on the grill. we're going to a bbq tomorrow. so i need help!!! this vegan diet is expensive! damn the gall bladdder! i did get some fish. thats my only meat...cause i can't have any other meat.
sooo anyways back to the topic! eggplant help please!!!

You should use thick slices.... peel it first... 1/2 inch at least... and salt it and let it sweat for a few moments on a paper towel... about 5-10 minutes... then brush with olive oil and put on HOT grill make sure the grill is HOT... and toast on each side... it should be "aldente" to the bite.
It's a great summer side for grilled chicken or anything.... |
