Venting: Mood Swings

Oh, how I hate them! They take the perfectly normal and logical man I met and fell in love with and turn him into a mess worse than I have ever been during PMS.

Early last week he was being a (cold, distant, a little heartless) later in the week and continued into this week, he jumped over himself to call me multiple times a day ("just because"), etc.

I love when the moods are up; it reminds me of every reason I love him

Honestly, when he is down, doesn't want to talk, and I can't even small talk with him; I start to wonder if I have lost it. It is hit and miss with him
The down times seem to be shorter, but are happening more than I remember. I have 2 added complications; they have also been adjusting his pain meds again and the words "medically discharge" are becoming part of the picture.

On a couple of occasions, he has actually recognized that dealing with him and being apart most of the time is difficult on me too. He asks why I do it; my response is always the same "because when we have gotten through this, there will be a calm in the storm where we can just get back to enjoying each other."

I totally understand! Some days my husband is in a good mood and will joke with me. Then the next he's pissed and ignores me and unfriends me and blocks me on facebook. I don't even know what I do to piss him off half the time. All I know is that he is pissed off. Sometimes I don't even know that he is... he never tells me. I really hate the lows. They are so stressful at times.
