Whew! Made it through another one!

Ok, so my DF is finally over his little thing. This time I had to literally go find him and bug him until he talked to me. He's going to have to be going back to being farther away again, and he said between thinking about that and having another episode, that he was starting to think that since it wasn't going to be easy for us, that we should just give up. He was telling me how he's sick of these things happening and he was sick of hurting me all the time. It took me an hour of talking to him and convincing him I was ok, and that we'd make it through this, to get him to calm down. He finally just got really quiet and hugged me and said he missed me. Hopefully these little things will start getting easier to deal with!
