I'm not very familiar with PTSD but i did read your post and i want you to know that i hope everything will settle back to normal once you're back in Illinois.

I hope you're new start will be filled with 'good' memories. It looks like you and your dh really need it.

Good luck with the move! DB hates where we live too, he wants to be out in the country where he is comfortable leaving the house, then he can actually go outside!
