I agree with the gun thing as well. They make me nervous. A friend of ours bought one and he wanted to keep it at our place, because he lived on post. I only let him keep it there because it was in a box with a lock. I don't like them and now that we have a child, I don't want one in our home. My husband also has a menagerie of knives, much like yours does Britt. It doesn't bother me as much. In fact, the entire time I lived in San Antonio, while my husband was going through AIT, I kept one under my pillow. He asked me to, so he knew that if I needed to use it, it was in reach.
