I'm sorry I really am not familiar with what has happened to your dh...but gosh that is alot of change to handle. Sounds as if you are doing it gracefully and are very supportive of your dh.

My father goes through bouts of restlessness being at home on disability. We encourage him to volunteer, so he still feels needed and useful, but it doesn't interfere with his disability. He tried working once after being forced to "retire" with depression and it was a mess, so never again for him.
