It's coming and I'm feeling strong and ready. - PTSD

Yesterday he got his appointments in motion to begin his PTSD and depression treatments.

Regardless of whether or not I can attend the actual meetings, I'm ready. I'm ready to know what caused this in his mind, I'm ready to support him through the hardest of the days that I know we will see, and I'm ready to be his absolute strength, even if it breaks me a little bit.

We WILL get through this. He will get better, the treatment will be successful, and I will stay strong for both myself and for him.

I'm just going to remember to breathe.

This HAS to be successful. I didn't leave my whole life in California behind when they sent him home early from Iraq for this all to not work. I wish there was a "how to" guide for Military life and situations like this...
