He admited it - PTSD

So finally after a few months of not pushing anything, just being here last night was our breaking point. Its been a very hard couple of month with his mood swings and him suddenly leaving for no reason, no sleeping all this jazz. Yesterday he told me he no longer gets that warm fuzzy feeling when he is around me anymore. And of course I get the sinking feeling and I cant help my big mouth say "At least we lasted longer then Brittany Spears first marriage" I was at a loss... BUT he then went on to tell me how I was right, he has nightmares, cant get certain things outta his head, gets the shakes and all that. The the words came outta his mouth, "I think I have PTSD" He blames the PTSD for the lack of fuzzy feelings and everything else. He said he still loves me, it hasnt changed that. But the most important thing is that he ADMITED he has PTSD!!! And the first step to fixing a problem is admiting you have one. Thank god.

Im happy you can talk to each other about it all. There will still be lots of ups and downs ,but as long as you got each others love you will be fine.
Sometimes it`s just a few words like "I understand" ,"I will support you" . that helps a lot.
Good luck and take care of each other. ( You look so lovely together)

i'm glad he has realized what's bothering him & it's not you. i hope he's able to get the help he needs to get through it & for the both of you to get through it together.

I am glad you two talked about it!!! now hopefully he can't get the help he needs!!!

That is a wonderful first step! It will still be an uphill battle but I hope he will get the help he needs.

I know that it was probably one of the hardest things to admit but thank god he is willing to admit that he needs help! Hopefully, by doing this, he will once again have the same warm fuzzies he did before!

The best of luck to both of you. Good for him for admitting he needs help, that is a big hurdle to get over, always.

i'm glad he fig. out what was going on with him...that's def. a major step...i hope everything works out and you guys can get those fuzzies back again...
