I have PTSD.
That being said, I don't see a counselor for it (but I know I need to). I'm on medication for it, which helps for the most part. I would definitely set out with seeing your regular doctor, discussing why you think you have PTSD, get a referral to a psychologist, and see about also getting on some medication (if you are open to taking meds). |

If you go to the PCM first, they can give you a referral for it which can have an effect on your copay.
At least it did in my case with depression. Tricare covered the first six visits completely because my doctor said I needed to go and I didn't just up and go on my own. |

This is for me. I have looked online at symptoms and whatnot and done checklist thingy's.... they all come back saying yes. It all surrounds Gabe and Danica and what i have been through with them both. It's just getting worse. I have slept maybe 8 hours total in the past 3 days because of the nightmares. I will also be having a good day and out of nowhere, it's like I am dealing with everything all over again right then and there. I thought DH was going to have to call 911 saturday night. I have never felt like that before, it really scared the crap out of both of us. Hopefully maybe getting my meds changed will help and talking to someone. No, it has to. Cause I cant keep going like this.
