Surprisingly well actually. I thought I was going to be a mess, but before he left I had planned so many things I wanted to do and accomplish before he got home, so now I stay busy with that. Plus school and an internship keep me busy. Of course we have already had some ups and downs, but I'm just thankful the downs were only short phases. Its also nice knowing that when this is finally over, its over and we are done. He isn't in it for a career, so after a year and a half of long distance (minus the 4 months he was stationed at Ft. hood before deployment), after this deployment is over he is home for good and we finally can start a real life together! Some days are harder than others, but overall there are lots of positive things to get out of this experience so I just try to keep reminding myself of those things? But how about you? Is your DH in for a career? How long have ya'll been military? And what is his MOS?

Yellow Ribbon Convention? I have never heard of that, but Congrats on being half way through. This week was our 6th week, and I was excited about that haha! I feel like every week down is an accomplishment lol. But I have stayed busy with school, lots of tests coming up, but one week until spring break! And I just bought tickets to see Black eyed Peas and Brooks & Dunn in two weeks so i'm sooo excited! Hope your week is going well!

Its just a program that the NG puts on pre mid and post deployment with speakers and different organizations to help families. Its really pretty handy

Glad you are staying busy...it sure does make time go by your right!
