Shock Pregnant and don't know my options

    Hello everyone!

I am currently 18 weeks pregnant with my first baby! I am over the moon but the timing is a little rough for us to be having a baby. Let me explain... My husband is set to separate from the Air Force May 15th... he has been looking forward to this for a long time and plans to finish his Bachelors by September and get a job then. (In the meantime, we have savings and he will be getting the GI Bill rent money).

The problem is due May 26th. If baby comes on her due date, I am pretty sure we are out of insurance right? I know its a long shot but do benefits really end the day of separation? Are there any loopholes if you are pregnant? What other options do I have to get insurance afterwards?

Has anyone been through a similar situation? I appreciate any advice or guidance that you can offer!

    You can get transitional insurance.
The link above explains it all.
