How did you tell DH?

I'm just curious...been trying to think of creative and cute ways to break the news when I find out! I don't wanna just say, "We're pregnant!" I want to do it cute....

I always wanted to do what happened on Full House.Whats her face gave Uncle Jesse an entire meal of "baby" foods. Baby carrots, corn, etc

Maybe buy a pair of baby booties and wrap them up. Tell him you have a gift

LOL Becky....that's Uncle Jesse's wife's name. And ironically that's what I always wanted to do...but I ended up telling him the 2nd time through a gift bag with baby socks that said "I love my Daddy". He carried them around with him during my pregnancy. The 1st time though, we found out together at the ER. (Yeah, that was interesting)

Unfortunately I couldn't be creative. We had been TTC for so long that I got so excited that I yelled from the bathroom, "OMG it's positive!" and apparently I was loud enough to wake DH up. lol

Mine Sucked I sent him a picture of the Test and he called me saying that I was wrong and take a another one I wanted to do something cute for our next kid though

I called him on the phone in tears freaking out

Next time I want to do it differently, whether it be just leaving a positive test on the sink, or something creative.. I have lots of time to figure it out

But we want to tell the family by either going to a holiday familly event with Carter wearing a "big brother" shirt, or sending pictures with him wearing the shirt and see if people notice it or something...

My mom found out about me on christmas eve so she wrapped up a baby outfit and put it under the tree with the other gifts.

I haven't been pregnant but I already know how I want to know it. DH LOVES hunting..and I've seen newborn hunting outfits..SO CUTE! SO I'd wrap it up and tell him I got him something "just because."

I called him, I was in Texas and he was in New York. I was due to fly back to NY that Friday and I found out on Tuesday night. I had been home in Texas finishing up some classes and he had come home on leave for our anniversary and he gave me a baby as an anniversary gift! HAHA! I had a ultrasound that had my due date as January 3rd, but the doctor is keeping it December 31st, but January 3rd is exactly 9 months to the day of our anniversary, so we may have conceived this little guy on our anniversary!

Anyways, my mother in-law kept telling me not to tell him until I got back to NY, but I felt so bad keeping it from him, so we had talked earlier that night, but he had hung up to go to bed, so I called him back and I said, "I think I'm pregnant" he got kinda quiet and then was like, "Why do you think that?" I was like, "Well, I took a pregnancy test and it was positive. It could be wrong though" at that point I didn't believe I was really pregnant yet. He was like, "If you took a pregnancy test and it came back positive, then you're pregnant!" and then he started freaking out, started acting like a jerk, yeah. It wasn't the best reaction. I hung up in tears. This happened a couple more days, but then I guess it finally sunk in and the shock wore off for him. I got back to NY and we took a pregnancy test together and it was indeed positive. I had it confirmed by the doctor the Monday after!

He's really happy and excited about it now, but I think he was just scared and in shock in the beginning!

I had to get a digital, because he's.... well.... I had to get a digital for him to read.
