*Crossing my fingers*
My hubby's First Sergeant called him this morning at 6:30. It's supposed to be a 4 day weekend for us so we were hoping to sleep in.
![]() Anywho, I'm actually pretty happy he called. Apparently, my husband's Lt Col wants to talk to him this morning about my pregnancy and letting him deploy 2-3 weeks later to Iraq so he can stay for the birth. I gave my husband some paperwork showing my due date, and he is on his way up there now. I need good vibes (if anyone is up this early) that his LTC approves him staying. My due date is quite literally less than 2 weeks after they deploy. Thanks! |

Oh I so hope your DH has a nice commander. That would be so great if he were allowed to stay for awhile after the baby is born. Good vibes that he gets to stay longer!

DH is home.
I am due December 21st, and he is now slated to leave the first week of January, so they gave us a little slack. Hopefully I don't go over my due date. The hospital has been very clear about not inducing me, unfortunately, so I'm going to be doing every home remedy in the book to get this baby out come 38ish weeks. Well, I still won't ever do that castor oil remedy. I hear horror stories. |
