Possible Line jumping - Pregnancy

I just got home from my appt and the dr im seeing said I do have GD, we already knew that, and that he wanted to schedule me for an induction. I freaked out, I thought he meant right then and there. He gave me a date of december 14th, if I make it that long. Im 2 cm dialated right now and im measuring 37 weeks. Dr said I could go into labor anytime between now and december, and that the baby and I will be just fine.

is he inducing you strictly b/c you have GD? I didn't knwo if I missed something else or not. I hope you make it through the 37 week mark though!

I have GD and pre-E. Im hoping to make it to the 37 week mark too, as much as I want him here now, Id rather wait and not have to worry so much about his health. Both of my other pregnancies I was dialated to 2-3 at this point and didnt go into labor early, so im keeping my fingers crossed that everything goes well. Until that point I have weekly dr appts. Everyone keep your fingers crossed that I make it to 37 weeks.

I walked from my MD's office to the hospital at my last visit and came home 3 days later with my baby boy. I wad 36w4d though. Hope you and baby make it to term! Not much longer.
