Hiccups
Ok, my butt is having hiccups. Well, technically the baby who has decided to finally face down, is having hiccups. Ive never had this happen before this pregnancy. Do I just ride it out and wait for it to stop or what? Its so weird feeling, please tell me im not alone in this.

My son got them ALL THE TIME when I was pregnant with him. ALLLLLLL THE TIME. It would go on for HOOOOURS. Sometimes, I would fall asleep at night and he had them and wake up in the morning and he had them. This pregnancy, I don't even know that she has had them. I think she did once or twice. Hard to tell. She moves a lot.
Just ride it out. It's a good thing that baby is hiccuping. It means baby is practice breathing and the lungs are close to being fully developed. Hiccups in utero are caused when the baby does practice breaths with their lungs and breaths in amniotic fluid. TOOOTALLY normal. Breathing that fluid in does not hurt them. That's another reason it is so important that when your water breaks, the fluid is clear of meconium (sp) because babies breathe in the amniotic fluid before they are born. |

his hiccups are the same small movement pretty close together, like 2 seconds apart, in the exact same area. Mine tend to happen for a pretty long time, like 2+ hours
