Ultrasound pics and a lack of a bump still!

We got to hear the heartbeat yesterday and because my nurse was so nice and the hospital was slow, she also did an ultrasound for us so we could have some pics. She knew J was leaving for Germany on Sunday (tear), so she wanted him to be able to take a long a picture. She said she thinks it's a boy, and so do J and I, so we'll see! His/her heartbeat was beating so fast! He/she was also moving around lots and lots. He/she even waved before putting his/her arms behind his/her head! The second I saw it move, the tears started. It all became so real, and for the first time in 2 months I felt truly happy.






This one makes me laugh, because Jason and I both think it looks like a chipmunk. Such a cute little thing!


And here's me, still pretty bumpless. I should've taken a picture last night because I definitely had more of a belly! I'm 12w and 5d today.

*Sorry for the bad quality, there pictures of pictures, I don't have access to a scanner right now. And excuse my grossness, today's a bit of an "off" day for me.

One of my girlfriends who is now like 28 weeks didn't show really until 17weeks and even then she had to lift up her shirt and she just looked a little bloated. Everyone shows at different times. BTW Congratulations! I am new to the board and missed your announcement

Yep, but he's going ahead of me to deal with in-processing and set up housing. He didn't want to put me through sitting and waiting around all day, and it gives me an opportunity to spend more time with friends and family. Plus, I get a little mini-vacation out of the deal too, I'm going to go to FL for a week and visit my in-laws!

I'm glad you got to see your little one. The first time I saw mine all I could think was "WOW" and that's all I said at first. It was amazing to see the baby in me. I can't wait for my next ultrasound on the 18th.

Yeah, I started crying the second I saw it move. Tears were just rolling down my face. I think J got a little teary eyed too! I told the nurse that I could've sat there all day just watching it move. I can't wait to actually feel it moving!
