Figuring out bedding
My DS and this babe will be sharing a room so I'm trying to get some ideas for bedding. Right now what he has is very boyish and I'm pretty much over it. I'd like to find something neutral since we have no idea if we are having a boy or girl. And since its still going to be awhile before we find out I'm looking now. anyways, I found these and just wondered thoughts on which one would go best for a boy/girl room if it comes to that. I'm not planning to buy 2 complete sets. DS will be going to the toddler bed so I'll jsut need the extra dust ruffle for his bed and I'll find some plain sheets so that it all goes together.

Personally, I'm in the same situation. I'm going to go with a girly jungle theme for the baby on the way. I'm going to buy Go Diego Go toddler bedding for DS. I was thinking about BDU camo for DS, but every place I have looked for camo bedding, it's EXPENSIVE. I chose Go Diego Go because he is a jungle explorer, so it kinda matches the jungle theme that DD will have. Plus, it's fun; and it will hopefully encourage him to want to sleep in the toddler bed. We plan to do the transition to toddler bed the end of this month. DD is due the third week of next month.
Personally, I would think of something fun for your little guy, then match what you do for your next child with that. Like with the pictures you posted: If you did the ABC theme for the baby, you could buy Sesame Street bedding for your little guy. I personally REALLY like the 3rd picture you posted with the jungle animals. |

I think the ABC one would go best in a boy/girl room. I love the 3rd one with the jungle animals though!
I would go off what your son likes though, usually if it's something they really like it makes them more willing to go into the bed! Maybe you can start with getting something for your son and then base the bedding off that! The baby bedding could always be something neutral and sort of plain to match your sons, the baby won't mind!

Number 3, the Safari Jungle is exactly the bedding I'm using for my baby boy! HEHE
![]() If you're getting these from e-bay, you're getting a great deal! We only paid $50 for a 13 piece set! I like the ABC one, it's cute and could work for a boy or girl! |

i think i'm starting to lean more towards teh ABC one. It would be easy to do more blues on DS bed and more pinks on the babes bed if it's a girl.
Oh and yes it's off Ebay! I've only looked at one store so far but if we go with that one I"m going to search to see who has it cheapest. right now it's at $50 + shipping which is much much cheaper than the department stores. |
