Water birth?
Has anyone had a water birth? If so would you recommend it to someone else?
I've been trying to decide if I would like to have a water birth. I've watched several videos about them but I would like to hear about them from another persons point of view.

The idea interests me but more for like future babies. Since I don't know what to expect for this one being my first and all I want to go more traditional.

I haven't but would like to. Water feels soooo good in labor, I take showers and let the warm/hot water hit my lower back and it feels great. I couldn't stand for long though b/c of the pressure so I bet a tub where you can sit would be awesome.

I know when I was in the hospital for the few days after I had my son, I would sit on a chair in the shower and it was a God send. I'd imagine that water can be quite comforting during labor and delivery. It's not my thing, though. Quite frankly, I think it would be kinda gross. A lot comes out during the process of delivery. I wouldn't want to be sitting in that, and I sure as heck wouldn't want someone else having to get in that.
