Is this normal?
To still be only 162 pounds when I started at 160? I mean, I'm eating, I'm not trying to lose weight or anything, but it's starting to worry me because I should be gaining by now and I'm really not. I've been a steady 162 since like week 8. I have added a few fattier things to my diet, even, and I'm still not gaining. Maybe I'm not eating enough? I don't know...
Breakfast is usually either french toast with grapefruit or a bagel with grapefruit (heavy on the cream cheese, I'm a fiend) or cereal with grapefruit. Lunch depends on the day. Sometimes it's a BLT with pickles, sometimes it's ramen and some boiled eggs, it's always different. Dinner is also different. I snack a lot too. Maybe I should add a protein shake? What do you think? |

I only gained 7 lbs in my entire pregnancy with my first one. You really don't start gaining weight until the end.
Don't worry. Call your dr if you really are.

![]() I know I had about 12 pounds to lose when I was pregnant that was pretty much straight fat, so maybe because I'm not eating so much crap food I just have canceled out baby gain with fat lost. The Doctor didn't seem too concerned, so I guess I shouldn't worry, it just seems strange to me. |

Id say as long as you are eating enough (and not puking it all up) then youre probably alright. Id mention it to your doctor at your next appt just for some peace of mind though.

I didn't gain much weight in my pregnancy- about 16-19 lbs total, I think? And that was all at the end. I think you're fine, so long as you're eating healthy and consuming enough calories for the two of you (my FAVORITE part of pregnancy
).

I lost 14 pounds in my first trimester. Some people just don't gain weight with pregnancy and it's not a big deal. If you are worried, just bring it up with your doctor.

I've only gained 2lbs as well and I'm not gonna worry. The doc wasn't worried and honestly, the weight will come soon enough. With DS though I only gained a total of 16lbs.

I gained 25 pounds with my son, and nothing with my daughter. I was actually seven pounds lighter after I had her. As long as little bean is growing as expected, I wouldn't worry too much.
