Chest pain??
I was just walking around the store completely fine and then I got in the car and all of a sudden I began having extreme pain right under my right breast. It hurts to take a deep breath and it has been going on for like 30 minutes now. I feel like I can't breathe properly.
My sister works at a hospital and she said that she had the same thing a few weeks ago (at the same point in her pregnancy) and that one of the nurses at her job checked her out and said that it was her body adjusting to the increased bloodflow. Has anyone else heard of this? It really hurts bad but I know I am not having a heart attack or something because I have no symptoms of a heart attack. I feel fine besides this constant pain right under my left breast that gets worse when I take a deep breath or fully exhale.

Well I finally went to the ER at about 6am. I was really trying to not make a big deal out of it, got a few hours of sleep but got woken up by it. I called the Nurse Advice line and they recommended I go in so I did. They checked for a pulmonary embolism the best they could without using radiation and said I had no signs, and did an EKG and everything checked out fine. They are chalking it up to a muscle tear/strain from when I picked up the dog yesterday while DH was giving him a bath and he jumped out of the tub. It still hurts like hell but atleast I know that it isn't a blood clot and my heart is functioning normally.
