I'm 33 weeks today. The baby has been moving a lot from the beginning (of the time that a baby moves), but the doctor and everyone else told me that he'll move less and less from now on, especially now, because he's running outta room.
He's measuring two weeks ahead, so I'd think he's definately getting snug in there... But he's going nuts! Moving constantly. And. I. Mean. Constantly. Is this normal? There hasn't been more than maybe 10 or 15 minutes all day that he hasn't been kicking, flipping over/around, kicking some more. It's weird. I guess maybe he rests when I rest... This is my first baby, and I just wanted to hear, I guess, that he's okay in there. |

Everybaby is different, some babies will move more than others. There is really nothing to be concerned about, unless he stops moving for more than (I think) 2 hrs.

i think that movement can never be a bad thing...it's a great reassurance that baby is doing well in there. and also, how comforting that you know almost all day long that your baby is doing fine and dandy in there! it is true that most babies run out of room so their movements are as much flutters, kicks, and jabs...as much as proding, protrusions, and just plain painful. lol.
i doubt anything is wrong with a baby being active.

i'm 36 weeks & she still moves around like a track star! & she definitely has less room & i've dropped a lot. everyone is different, my dr said that from where i am now her movements may slow down, but we all know our baby has an atomic elbow & likes to use it, so i'm pretty sure she'll be poking & proding me till the end, lol.
