What was his reaction?
When you told your SO that you were pregnant?
With dd, I was freaking out because we TTC for 5 years, so I called him at work and blurted it out. lol! He was in the middle of teaching a class and he said "cool". After the class he called back and was really excited and happy. I think I shocked him. This time I went upstairs and he knew what I was doing so when I called down and said "HONEY" he said "what, you need help?" I said "Honey I need you to look at this for me because it just can't be right" so when he made his way upstairs he looked at it and tried to shake it out. he wasn't thrilled at first but came around in a few days.

my oldest daughter's father (or sperm donor, as i call him) wanted me to have an abortion, so i won't really get into that one...
dh knew i thought i was pregnant, so it wasn't a huge surprise, but he still cried with me a little bit, then called his best friend and asked if he was ready to be an uncle. we actually ended up losing the baby, but then we found out 3 and 1/2 weeks later that i was pregnant again, and he started knocking on wood and sprinkling sticky dust as soon as i told him... it worked, because rylee is now 12 weeks old!

well he was driving on his way to work (neither of us thought it would be positive so I just took it when I woke up right as he was leaving) so his reaction was "I'll be home in a minute" and then when he got home he just walked over to me silently and hugged me
![]() It was quite the surprise.. scary and exciting all at once! Then he tucked me back into bed ( ) and went to work.

Hmmmm, I'm going to have to remember. It seems like forever ago.
![]() Like 3 weeks before we BFP'd, we had the "talk" on when we wanted to have kids. We eventually ended up settling on "whatever happens, happens". DH left on the Aug. 11th for two weeks, and on the 9th, a friend of our's was the one that said "you're pregnant" to me because I was complaining that my ovaries hurt. DH and I talked about it that night, and we both thought that it was just a bad case of AF. She just hadn't shown up yet. So the original plan was to test the following Friday (and email him the test results since he would be gone) if AF hadn't shown up. Fast forward to Aug. 10th... I had to go into work that day, felt HORRIBLE, DH was on duty, the MIL was at the house. I went up to medical "faking being sick" and they made me pee on a stick. The HM did the test twice... I was pregnant. Went out on the weatherdecks, called my MIL first, and told her. I was in complete and total shock... DH was on duty and leaving the following day. So I went down to the sub, made them call him topside, stood there and said "I've never, ever said this to anyone before, so it's really hard" and then he just kinda looked at me, and I said "I'm pregnant". He was totally over the moon, right off the bat. I was pissed/worried/upset, but came around a few days later. It just sucked because he left for 2 weeks the day after we found out, so I didn't get to really "talk" to him about it... especially since we had only been married for 9 days when we found out.
