I'm doing pretty well seems to me that this week has all been an emotional rollercoaster. Anylittle thing sets me off. I go to my OB tomorrow for my 20wk check up
I have so many questions to ask, so much stuff is going on. He's going to run when he sees my notebook of questions I think I have been feeling the baby move since about 16 weeks. I get alot of thumping feelings. ITs kind of odd? Then sometimes it feels as if it could be gas, so who knows. Thats one of my questions for tomorrow. If it is the baby moving it isn't consistant. Kind of worries me. I've been having some pretty bad nightmeres lately. I have this big fear that I am going to go to the dr and something is going to be wrong. I really hope that is a normal feelin that most get? I'm also really tired all the time. I went to bed at 830 last night I hope all is going well for you to, and you are feeling the baby move. I to was a little confused on how to get started.

I have definatly been there with the emotional rollercoaster. I bet you are excited to go to your Dr apt tomorrow!!! I always look forward to them. Having nightmeres I think is pretty common. I have them alot also. Do they wake up at night? Try not to worry about something being wrong when you go in tomorrow. That will rise your BP and that isnt good. Do you have any names picked out? It must be really exciting to be expecting a girl. do you have any heartburn or anything? That is one thing I am struggling with really bad. I hope you have a fantastic day... And definalty let me know how your apt goes tomorrow!!

Yep we have a name! It took forever to pick it 14 weeks. We knew what we wanted to name a boy from the get go. We are naming her Genevieve Elsa. I wanted Eliza for a middle but he really likes Elsa so we will stick with it. My BP has already been a nightmere. I'm normally really low, but they are already watching me for Pre-E
As for my nightmeres I have a couple reacurring ones and some wake me up. One of them is about DF and I told him about it yesterday. I hope now that I have told him it will stop. We shall see. As for heartburn thats how i knew I was preggo. I never get hearturn since week 8 or so I haven't had any. I really hope your heartburn gets better. I'm sure I will get it soon but I really hope not I'll let you know how the dr goes. This is my second time going to this dr. since I moved to IA. I didn't like him last time, and he came highly recommended. If I don't like him tomorrow I think I am searching for a new OB Hope your day goes well and heartburn free!!

I just got back. The dr didn't bolt
Its odd though going from a city to a very tiny town. He knew the stuff I was talking about for my birth plan and doing the Bradley Method, but he said the nurses propbably wont He said probably december or so I can talk with them let them know what I want before hand. This appointmet went alot better than the last one. I get my big ultrasound on the 10th I already found out the sex, but this one will let me know everything is ok. Then just to make sure again that she is def. a she He said everything looked great though. Only gaind .5pounds and still 4 pounds less then what i was when I first found out I was pregnant. Not to bad. Now I think I am going to take a nap. I'm already worn out.

Im glad this apt went alot smoother! That has got to be a relief. Man, Your doing so much better than me on the weight gain! I have done nothing but gain this whole time.
Were you pretty sick in the beginning? How come they didnt do all the big ultrasound stuff when you did the one to find out the sex? ITs always fun to have ultrasounds done though. Congrats on everything going great this time. Or we would have had to go in there and lay the smack down on him!!

I wasn't sick at all. I barely feel like i'm pregnant besides headaches here and there. The the obvious that my belly is huge. I have no idea why I lost weight
My BP has been up and down. It seems to have stabilized at a safe point I think a lot of that was being worried about DF, and not hearing from him that much. You would think since this is my 4th deployment I would handle it differently. Think its the hormones. AS for the ultrasound its a long story. I moved from VA to IA to be closer to my family while DF is deployed. Well my dr in VA was going to give me my BIG ultrasound at the 16 weeks mark. Well here in IA they do it between 22-24 weeks. WEll I think that is too long because I have to buy things. SO I just went to a private sonography place. Thats why I found out. Oh and i signed up for my Bradley Method classes today Those start on Tuesday!! Now I have something to do Just wish DF could be there and not mom

Sorry it took me so long. Just been in one of those moods
Bradley classes are going really really well. Its nice to get out of the house too. Glad I am taking them I'm learning a lot from them. We are going over nutrition and relaxation stuff. Just odd that DF isn't here, and sometimes it makes me think about him not being here that much more. Originally the way it looked he was going to make it home for the birth, but now it looks like he will miss it by a week or two Then I had my big ultrasound and the dr. said everything looked good. Bad thing she was in a little ball. They couldn't see her tailbone or the umbilical cord going into her stomach, but they didn't see anything wrong. I will probably have another one though. She is now 1.3 pounds and 11in long. So apparently she is eatting Didn't get too many pics due to the position and they fact that she always has her hands in front of her face. Good thing is that she is still a she Hope dh's leave went well, and you are doing great! |
