Hey! I'm excited to have one! I'm feeling alright, I guess. This pregnancy hasn't been near as wonderful as my pregnancy with DD. I'm showing more now than I was at 6 months with DD.

I'm super sick...have been since day one. I do feel better on the rare occasion that I give in to my cravings (pizza & Chinese food). The nausea and fatigue just won't go away. I'm 14 weeks today.

![]() Sorry it took me so long to get back to you. Don't want to give too much info because then you might figure out who I am but I have not been near my computer a whole lot. I saw your post about RA, my step dad has it so I am familiar with the condition. Is it flaring up since you became pregnant? Did they take you off your meds for it? That must be extra hard to go through. .I have the chinese food craving OMG!!! I really really hope your nausea and fatigue fade soon . I would imagine it should since you are now in your 2nd trimester . Have you talked to the Dr about getting some meds for it? Have you tried taking Emetrol...I could be mistaken but it could be on the list to be safe now. I used a tea from Tazo called Green Ginger. It is an herbal tea and it really helped me in the first trimester. Ginger is supposed to help. Also Ginger Snap cookies helped too .

We've decided that my nausea and fatigue are not pregnancy related. The pregnancy amplified it for the first few months, but they're actually caused by a couple other medical issues that I have.
As for the RA, I've gotta get in to see a Rheumatologist asap. I'm not walking today. Blech. It'll be alright, though. I hope your pregnancy is moving along just fine!

![]() Are you feeling any better? Did you get to the Dr to find out what treatment options you had during pregnancy? I have been waiting to see a thread on what you are having!! You are almost to the point of finding out! Do you want a boy or a girl? Are you going to find out? |

Sorry, I've been out of town for the past week. Not feeling any better. I have a few other things going on right now that I'm waiting to be seen about. I've been trying to call to get an appointment with the rheumatologist for the past 2 days. Still haven't spoken with anyone.
We find out what we're having next week. We're hoping for another girl simply because this was not a planned pregnancy & a girl wouldn't cost us anything but another car seat. We still have all DD's baby stuff. But, we'll be happy with either. I REALLY want a boy, but a girl would be more economical for us...lol.

I am sorry you are not feeling better
. So where did you go?? Did you go on a nice relaxing vacation? I can see your point on why you would want both a boy and a girl, but I guess that means that you will be able to be happy with both . I am so excited for you that you get to find out next week!!! Have you felt the baby moving yet?? They say its easier to feel the baby move in a 2nd pregnancy than a first. |

Relaxing? Hells no!
I went to visit family in Alabama. I've felt the baby move a little, not as much as I did with DD, but I also stay on my feet a lot more this time around. I spent a lot of time focused on nothing but my pregnancy with DD. This time around, I couldn't do that if I wanted. Between DD, school, DH, trying to find some WAH stuff...there's no way I have any time to focus on feeling this baby move. Seems s/he moves the most when my dog is curled up against my tummy. How are you? Everything going well?
