I know certain resources are better than others when it comes to helping with reintegration after deployment. Does anybody have any suggestions for good resources that they have had experience with?

I think it would help to know which branch you're dealing with...
I'm not Lynn, but we ARE MSOS Best Friends and MSOS Twins.
Most things I know are issue specific. When they come home there is a lot of reintegration training/classes that are mandated. Is this traditional Army or Army National Guard? If it is traditional Army, will the solider be remaining in the Army, or are they getting out?
Traditional army - he will be coming back from his first deployment but will be staying in the Army. I'm sorry for the delayed response, I was out of town.
I don't have any personal experience with traditional army and my DH is guard, but I know that if he is struggling when he returns he needs to reach out and there will be SOMETHING to help. FWIW, I've been with guys in the navy who deployed prior to meeting DH and they had less struggles with reintegration because they were still doing the military thing where as DH had to shift back to civi life.
I know there are options when he comes back but according to friends of mine, some resources are helpful while others aren't. Now that you say it, it makes sense that post deployment reintegration might be harder for those in the Army National Guard than those in the traditional Army. Thank you for your input, I appreciate it!
