Question!
So DF and I are nearing the end of our first deployment in a few weeks here and I'm wondering..How soon after coming back to the states to they get leave? Or rather, when did your SO get post deployment leave?
I'm trying to plan what he needs to help with for the wedding, but I need an idea of when he'll be back in Michigan. Aside from a 10 minute phone call today (in which I forgot everything that I wanted to ask/say) I haven't talked to him in about 2 weeks, so I'm asking you girls(and guys if you're out there ) for some input!

I think it depends on the situation. My boyfriend chose to wait to take his leave for almost 3 months because I decided to meet him down here. However, he was waiting on pending paperwork about BAH and such and wasn't comfortable leaving until he had all his ducks in a row. most of them seem to get their leave within 2 or 3 weeks at the latest. They have to check in and take care of business that I don't really know much about. You must be very excited and I'm happy for you
