Does anyone know about decoding dreams? I use to be able to, but I cant remember anything of what I once knew.
Ok, heres the deal. DB just got back from TDY, it was only two weeks long, and he didnt go anywhere massivly dangers, but he was subjected to radiation. The first night that he was home, he started having strange dreams. He usually doesnt remember his dreams, which is one reason these bother me. The other reason, theyre all about me. The frist dream, he said that I left him. No reason why, just did. Second dream, he was being suffocated, by me. Im talking hard core suffocation, wrapping a plastic bag over his face type thing. Third night, he was again being suffocated, this time by some monster saying that if he wanted to be with me, he had first had to survive that. I dont know what it all means, but its starting to freak me out. Can anyone possibly help me out with this? TIA

Is it possible that it might be PTSD or adjusting to a different environment again? My ex had some really really weird dreams when he came home the first time. Hopefully they subside with time. I'm sorry this is happening to you guys

Perhaps his subconscience is stressed that he worries that this accident will mess with his manhood and that you won't want to be with him anymore.

We talked a little bit ago, because he had another dream. This time it was a dream that something was sitting on his chest, causing him to lose his breath. But it apparently actually felt like someone was sitting on him, not just in the dream, but in real life. He thinks hes having these dreams because he's been scared half to death of losing me lately. Im not sure why that would be causeing him to have these types of dreams though. I know he's under a lot of stress at the moment, between the ex causeing problems, his son going back to school, him starting 12s tonight, thinking he has to keep me happy 24/7, stressing going into the TI program.

To dream that you are suffocating, signifies that you are feeling smothered or oppressed by some situation/relationship. Something or someone is holding your back. You are experiencing stress and tension.
To dream that someone is choking you, indicates that you are suppressing your emotions or that you may have difficulties in expressing your fears, anger, or love. Consider the phrase "being all choked up". Alternatively, you may feel that you are being prevented or restricted from freely expressing yourself. The one where it felt like someone was sitting on his chest, kind of sounds like sleep paralysis to me.

Does he hear a buzzing noise in his ear? Does he feel like he can't move while it happens? If so, it's called "sleep paralysis", which is quite common. http://www.webmd.com/sleep-disorders/sleep-paralysis

I don't put any stock into dreams, but I think he should head over to a doc at some point and get checked out.
Plus, if he's still adjusting, I'd think his mind would be all out of sorts anyhow. I'm sorry it's worrying you.
