Distant but getting better?!?!

Well its been like two months since DB's been home.. weve been able to spend more time with each other at first it was great.. but the past two times he's been home its been weird..he seemed distant and different.. jus not the same goofy guy before deployment..the first time he came home i didnt let it bother me i figured he's still gettin use to bein home... well this time around.. i figred i had to bring it up.. because it was awkard bein around him we wernt havin fun and laughin like we use to.. well it was finally the two of us.. and i was attemptin to make a move on him. i was feelin in the mood KWIM .. well then he kinda brushed me off.. and that how the conversation got started.. and i began to tell him what have i done wrong.. and brought all this other stuff up and i was like do you still love me.. well that's when he cracked and started talkin bout how he left a part of him on the shop (IWO JIMA) he was on during deployment.. and how he changed and cant figure out what changed and stuff.. then he said he should have paid attention to those post deployment classes.. (Duh lol) well we talked for a while.. and i told him he would get throught it and i was 100% behind him.. we both felt better after the talk.. and he ended up goin back to his parents housse..and later that night we hung out and he had already changed back to his good ol self.. you kno how people have that spark in them well i saw it in him .. well i hope this wasnt too confusing.. but im just happy it all worked out.. he also left to go back up to base..and i see him in two weeks.. for memorial day weekend !!! and were gonna go to the Nascar race..

i know exactly what you're talking about. complete with the awkwardness, the conversation, and finally catching a glimpse of the man you fell in love with for the first time, and knowing deep down he's still in there. i'm so glad things are working out for yall.
