should i give him space? - Post Deployment

DB has been back in Texas for a week now. I left to go back to Florida on Saturday and since then I haven't heard from him but once. I called him Sunday and we just had a quick talk. He seemed to be doing okay, he was in a pretty good mood, and when we got off the phone we said our "I love you's" and he said he'd call me later. I haven't heard from him since and neither have any of his friends or family here in Florida. I know he needs to adjust and it's fairly common for them to withdrawal, so should I just give him space and let him call me when he's more adjusted? I'm just feeling down about it. Why doesn't he WANT to call me or hear my voice?

I never imagined that I'd talk to my boyfriend more while he was deployed than when he came home...

Give him a little time sweetie. it's been two days now since you talked to him. Maybe send him a text before you go to bed tonight that says "I love you". Nothing pressuring, just a fact!

yeah, i'm just torn between wanting him to know i'm here for him and not wanting to suffocate him. thank you
