Can't sleep with me in the bed? Update in OP - Post Deployment

Dh came home on Saturday and until lat night he was sleeping for a few hours and waking up at 4 am and couldn't go back to sleep..I thought maybe he is still adjusting to the time change...but last night I decided to sleep on the couch and see what would happen...He ended up sleeping the whole night...I pray this changes..otherwise what..am I not supposed to sleep in the same bed as my husband!

3/28 For the past to nights he's slept through the night!

With me next to him!

aww

i'm sure its just a matter of him adjusting to things. i mean, he was sleeping alone for quite a while.

it's okay. it's just part of the readjustment process, i'm sure. DB got back on tuesday and he only will sleep if i'm on the other side of the king sized hotel bed i.e. no cuddling or touching or anything. it's really hard, i know how confusing and rejecting it feels, but give it some time. i'm here for you.

maybe he's just having issues adjusting. Give it some time hun. I'm sure things will get better.

it takes awhile to get used to sleeping in bed with someone. Im sure it will go away soon enough, I wouldn't go to the sofa though.

My hubs slept on the floor or the couch for about a month.. He wasn't used to having another body next to him, and he freaked out a couple times in the middle of the night..

He came around eventually.

me and DB are in an LDR are go months without seeing each other, so usually when we do, i just feel a bit awkward having to share a bed with someone the first night or two..i wake up every hour and toss and turn. it's weird, but then i get used to having him there, and then he leaves, and then it feels wierd to sleep without him there

lol.....eventually your dh will adjust, just give it a litte time.

Give it a few weeks and see what happens. It's probably just something he needs time to adjust to.

i know it always take a while for me to adjust to sleeping next to someone. just give it time.
