Hey you guys,
So my Db doesnt come home until March, and I am not really sure what to expect...alll I know is that I really excited. But the thing is...I am not really sure what to expect! This was our first deployment together and I truly believe that it made us stronger, but i am not really sure the boudaries or whatever! We have only been together a little over 6 months and like 3 of those months he was deployed! He tries to hide his feeling really well, and I know talking to them is kind of a touchy subject. Do yall talk to your Sos about their deployment? Do you think it helps for them to talk about it? I am scared because sometimes i can be a little pushy when it comes to him talking about how he feels! I don't want to push him away! Any advice?? Thanks, Renae

A rule of thumb to live by is to let them come to you. You will never understand combat so don't try to. If he wants to talk about it with you then he will. If not, don't nag.
Be understanding and patient if he isn't super lovey dovey the first month home. It's an adjustment for them. |

![]() Nagging is no good. If they want to tell you about it then they will, but I know with my DB, he didn't want to think about it for awhile, he just wanted to get back into the swing of non-deployment life. |

Even though I have been deployed myself...I know his job was 1000000% different then mine was so if he wants to talk about it he will if not he won't simple as that |
