It's a love story baby just say yes!

two things...
First, I have a questions that is probably obvious to all of you, but I'm fairly new to the military thing and my fiance doesn't like to talk about it in detail. Are men and women overseas allowed to wear their wedding and engagement rings?
Secondly, My fiance just got home from AIT a week ago. Things have been weird and they aren't at all like I pictured them to be. Things aren't back to normal yet and there are alot of serious things we need to discuss before he is deployed in March. However, all I have been feeling lately is this weird type of depression. I don't understand why I'm not happy, he is home so why do I feel this way? Is it normal, does it go away? I don't want to feel this way for long, we only have 4 months before he leaves again!

but my hubby isn't allowed to where his. I've got an engagement ring, even though we are married, but when he returns me and him are gonna get wedding bands. He was told he couldn't wear his overseas so he didn't wanna buy one. |

The transition is normal. You have all these hopes and images of "how it will be" and then reality doesn't live up to that dream, so you feel bummed out a bit. It's normal, and will go away with time.
On the wedding band question- it depends on where he is and what he does. My DH is aircrew. They do not wear them when flying. He puts his on his dog tags inside his flightsuit. That's a safety thing because of the equipment (since he ring is metal and thus a conductor and could cause him to get shocked). But different places and jobs have different rules. So it will depend on his unit. |

Yeah hubby as a ring of mine that he keeps on his dogtags.
And I think he did it because we are having an actual ceremony when he gets back. We got married at the courthouse with just me and him before he left. So we wanna have one in front of the family. |

Engagement rings, no. Wedding bands, yes.
And also depends on their command and what they're doing. DH wore his, but when he was doing something specific, i forget what it was, working on the planes I believe, they were told not to wear them then.
