Things are getting better
Well DH is starting to show more signs of the man he was before he left (and the sweet guy who was in iraq lol). Some of you ladies might have read in another thread how he just seemed so cold, and not the same anymore when he initially got back. He never called me, no emotions, very short tempered, yelled very quickly at me, basically told me to leave him alone....
So I did. I was studying for finals and I don't have time to be upset over him. I took my phone apart and just studied, and didn't worry about him! it is sooooo much easier to concentrate when your phone is in pieces in your apartment! Because you CANT get a call! Anyway I put it back together at the end of the day and i had texts from him saying that he was sorry for everything, that he realized how he had been treating me, and that he just wants to stop fighting and he wants to be happy. He also admitted that he IS having trouble adjusting and that he is a little scared. I let him know that I will be here for him through anything but he HAS TO LET ME KNOW WHATS GOING ON!!! Soo...he said he promised to let me know what he's thinking/feeling if something comes up. So since then I've been getting alot more "i love yous" and a crap load more calls, we have had a nice convo, and we almost got into a fight but he didn't explode on me, and we resolved it without yelling at each other. I think we will be okay. He comes to see me on thursday night, so I really hope that we are able to keep this up!

Awww Jasmin! I didn't even realize he was home! Im so glad things are getting better for you...I hope it just continues to go up you deserve it...keep us updated!!

 and good for you sometimes they need a swift kick in the arse to wake them up and come back to civilian life. I hope that thursday night goes well
