Spring 2011 Brides! - Posses, Clubs & Cliques

Hey all you pretty ladies that are getting married in the spring (or late winter or early summer) of 2011! GummyBear wanted ideas for her wedding and I saw a bunch of people that said they were getting married in Spring of 2011 so I thought we could start our own posse and thread and bounce ideas off each other!!!

I'm Megan and my DF and I are planning on May 27, 2011. Its our 2 1/2 year anniversary of dating so we thought it would be fun to get to celebrate every 6 months

I'm Meg, my DF and I are getting married on June 3rd 2011. We are waiting so long because the Navy won't let him get married or have kids until he graduates from school. His graduation is the Friday before we get married.

do you know your colors or anything yet? i really want blue (for my sorority) and gold (for his fraternity) but he really wants gold and green. I think I'm just going to be like.... uuhm too bad

Woo! I'm Elish. Fiance is Chris. We are getting married tentatively on April 2nd or 3rd at the Chinese Gardens in Portland, OR. We are waiting because he was married once before and didn't want to do the quicky-thing again since it didn't work well before and he "wanted to do it right this time." Meaning big wedding and tons of people etc. etc.

So we are doing a Where the Wild Things Are wedding! Colors are mauve, slate grey, and champagne. Of course anything wild haha. Just went to Michael's today to get some inspiration.... hmmmmm ;D We also wanted to save money up to do the whole she-bang too. Frivalous... I know, but hey I'm special damnit!!

Do we have like an official group now that we join? Or just post. We need a motto or cheer or something *think* *think*

I have no idea about colors, I know if I try to plan too much now I will change my mind a billion times.

I think we just post. And I think I mentioned it before in another thread, but I am loving the where the wild things are theme.

Hi I'm Nelva - not sure if it was a proposal or not!! but the morning he left he asked if I wanted Nov. 2011 to mean something special he wants that to be the month we become Husband and Wife. BUT it was hot, stormy that morning (0400hrs) so he promised to ask me right when he comes back from Iraq. SO if you consider that a proposal...then count me in!!!!!
