My husband works mids.

He works a 2-2-3-3 schedule

My hubby's working swing - 4on4off alt day/night and the nights SUCK royally!

I hate the nights alone cause they are boring and lonely. BUT I just keep reminding myself it's more time home with the family. The way it works out, he works only 15 - 18 days out of the month. The rest of the time is family time.

My man works shifts - 2 days and 2 nites and I work nites on the weekends and holidays only!
In some ways it sucks, cause when he works, he doesn't get to see the kids or spend time with them too much, but on the other side I love it, cause if he wouldn't do shift work, I would've to stay at home 24/7 and couldn't work on the weekends and holidays!
Plus his shift work gives us the chance to go away on the weekends or do something during the week while if he would work a 5 day week, it wouldn't be possible!
Unless there're no changes in the schedule and unless he doesn't've to go into work and stay there for a few hours on the days he's off, it's cool!
I met him with working shift and I hope it stays that way!
And the good thing about shift work's he works a maximum of 15 days each month!

Yeah, it has it's pros and cons - things that day-shifts just don't come with.

Plus side to night shift....

I don't have to share the 360 and can play all night long without him harassing me to get off so he can play.

i work tuesday, wednesday, and thursday night from 4 pm to 8 am. it sucks but the pay is good. im looking into another healthcare place to work so i can spend more time with my DB when he gets home.
