    Photo Editing Help?

    Advertisements
Let me preface this with I have only ever edited pictures in a college technology class and for like 5min so I almost have zero knowledge of what is or isn't possible or how it's done.

Now, the picture in my siggy. I took that a year ago in Guam and it's a great picture. Except for my damn shadow. It bugs me every day and I really want to blow that picture up on a canvas (I took it with my good camera so I know it's good for that). Is there any quick, easy, free something that I can wave a magic wand at my shadow and just make it turn into grass ?

I don't know any personally, the only editing program I use is Adobe Lightroom. Plus it's pretty dark, so IDK if any free program would be able to handle it. If you took the picture in RAW format it may work better than others but if it's a JPG you maybe out of luck

If I see anything I'll let you know!

This is probably going to be big or something else but how does this look?

Eye, that picmonkey site is pretty awesome! Didn't take too many errors until I found what I needed

It looks good on the computer! The only thing I'd be weary of is blowing it up too big... the resolution may diminish on canvas a lot and the editing may be super obvious. See if there is a return policy just in case when you receive it, it looks awful.

That is my only worry is it always looks great on a computer but once it's printed anything can happen and its a pain in the ass!

I think I may take the file to one of the printing kiosks around here and get a big print, like same size as the canvas, to see how it looks before dropping the $30-ish on it.
