    Question What is this spot???

    Advertisements
Lately the last couple of photos I have taken have had a roundish dark spot towards the left, top side of the photo. I have checked my lens and I don't see anything ie: dirt, smudges, etc. I have have cleaned it also so I have no idea what it is?! I have a attached a photo that I took today so you can see what I am talking about. Any thoughts??

mine did that for a little while. It went away on it's own after a couple of months.

Have you had it professionally cleaned? That might fix it.

    It's probably a ghost!

Ok I dunno, but that would be the cool explanation.

No I haven't. It just randomly appeared the other day. I guess I will just have to bring it in somewhere. I don't see the spot on my LCD screen when I take the picture but it is there when I review it.

It could be a spot of dirt or something on the INSIDE of your lens.
What kind of camera do you have??

My guess is that something somehow found its way onto the inside of the lens.
A good professional cleaning should do it.

It looks like a smudge or dust on your sensor. I second having it professionally cleaned.
