    Maverick update

I don't know if anyone saw my post the other day about the vet thinking my dog had parvo. But if you did I just though I'd update that he is still hanging in the and he actually ate a little on his own today!! For the past few days I have been force feeding him baby foods, chicken broth, and water using a turkey baster. I think he is gonna make it!

A couple family members called their vets for second opinions and they were shocked that my vet ran no tests or anything. Judging by the symtoms both of the other vets said it could be a variety of other things. So as long as things stay good the rest of the weekend, he will go to a different vet next week and hopefully we can figure out exactly what is wrong with him.

OH NO. I am soo sorry to hear he is so ill. That breaks my heart. Thank God you are such a good furmomma and are nursing him back to health. I definitely think as soon as you can you should take him to a vet for a second opinion. Parvo IS NOT a death sentence if it is caught and treated. GOOD LUCK!
