    dh and i determined today that buddy is alittle special

    i don't think i could ever leave him with anyone while we're away on a trip. at least no one that can't focus just on him ya know? no one with kids, or other dogs, he's too needy for other people to handle. so i'm worried about what we're going to do for christmas--flying vs. driving with the dog.

    anyway, our special guy now thinks that there is something alive in his food bowl and that he must stalk it, and pounce on it.

    weird dog...

    Aw, poor Buddy.

    It's actually documented in Peewee's medical charts that he is "special" and has an undetermined problem with his eyesight. Our vet, a really funny Army Captain, said, "Cats are like kids. You cannot compare one to the other, it's not fair." But then he did say on the side, "The male cat is a little slow. It's a good thing you rescued him from the park, he probably wouldn't have made it in the wild."
