I have heard rave reviews for the Littermaid - but have not heard anything about this particular brand.

It actually just came up in the last few days in another group I belong to. I haven't had any personal experience with any of them but have always been tempted by the thought of no more scooping (especially with five cats - I do a LOT of scooping, lol)

One of the biggest things that turns me away from the littermaid is I have to use clay litter. I can't do it very well..the fumes make me sick. I love the crystal litter and this uses it. On3 different sites this one has outrated the littermaid

we tried the littermaid but little girl won't use it-

so we use scoop away for multi cats-

an interesting factiod about litter-- there are two kinds of clay- th clumping and non clumping- tidy cat is a nonclumping litter- and you have to dump the box weekly or bi weekly-
with brands like scoop away- it clumps and then you just scoop and add-
I "clean" the litter box about 1 time every six months. other than that I just scoop-

Also another factiod-- food plays a big big part of what comes out the other end- foods with high filler count will cause more waste- foods like Iams, Hills and other quality food lowers what comes out at the end of the day-

with 2 cats on Iams hairball control I scoop once every 2-3 days.

We've had the littermaid one for a couple years now, the only problem we have with it is if we put too much litter in it, it keeps running and running! other than that, we love it... well DH does because he's the poop scooper
