I guess they have a stomach bug!

Well I was up at 5am again this morning washing two dogs and cleaning a kennel and then showering myself. It was HORRIBLE! They will be sleeping separately from now on, even if they whine a bit when they go to bed. I can't keep waking up having to wash dogs all the time. I dunno what is wrong with them. I know it was Sophie last night. She's still got HORRIBLE stomach issues. I've talked to the vet and they just say bland diet.... so I've got her on 3/4 rice and a 1/4 puppy food. I don't want to switch her all the way so it upsets her stomach worse. I've got to get some more chicken and boil it for her and just do chicken and rice. Maybe I've just got sensitive stomach dogs. I dunno.... it's frustrating though. Maycie got sick this morning.... just a few minutes ago... I just don't know what's going on....

and watch.. as soon as DH gets home they will be perfectly fine. Tell me my dogs don't have severe separation anxiety and freak out like this when DH is gone.....

Nope.. I've pretty much eliminated everything they could get to and they don't get NEAR my plants anymore because I put bitter orange on them and they hate it. Maybe they just have a small bug or something. I dunno. They are acting fine, they just get sick every now and then. I might have to start trying a sensitive stomach diet for them. It might end up being rice and chicken for a while. Guess I might need to invest in a rice cooker and a chicken farm.

    Thanks Aunty Jill!!!

I'm sure they will feel better soon! Just gotta get their stomachs settled down. Sophie seems to be handling the rice pretty good this morning. We'll see how she does with some more chicken and rice tonight and then it's chicken and rice the rest of the week.
